WAKE UP, it's time to register and PAY!

We had GREAT weather for our second track event at Homestead Miami Speedway Saturday Oct.13th.   NSXers and Chin Motorsports members from all over the state gathered at the Hampton Inn on Friday for early tech inspection, fighting the Miami traffic on the Turnpike.  Saturday dawned clear and warm with the track opening a little late at 7:15am.  We had a awesome array of cars running through tech.....from the new M3 to a Spec Racer Ford.  We had a bunch of NSXs and S2000s.   The only bad thing....Homestead raised our rental fee $1000 12 days before the event....BUMMER.

We had two incidents that resulted in body damage....more than we have had at any other event.  They both occurred where run-off room was minimal.  There were several off course excursions into the grass and the kitty litter....mostly damaged pride.  There were 20 novice drivers and they had a GREAT time.  Here are a few photos of cars taken at the track by Jenna Bassett (our new photographer).  If you are interested in purchasing the photos (or enlargements) or using the digital images, please notify me.  We have photos of almost ALL the cars.

The NEW M3....simply oustanding!

After our frolicking on the track, we met for a fabulous dinner at the 94th Aero Squadron right next to Miami Airport.  It was great watching the planes take off as we socialized and drank heavily!

On Sunday Oct.14th, we woke up EARLY to stand in line at the car wash to clean our vehicles for the Coral Gables Auto Show....sponsored by the Big 6 Car Club.   The Miracle Mile was filled with really neat cars, from modern to relics.   Surprisingly our club walked off with some SERIOUS hardware, including Best of Show (Wei-Shen Chin, 94 NSX!??).  We had 10 NSXs and 2S2000's included.  After the show, we met for an informal lunch along the beach in Ft. Lauderdale....watching all the swimmers roller blading by.......
