After having wrecked my Viper, Doc Lane insisted that I consider becoming an NSX owner. After having driven the NSX for a few hours, I asked Doc Lane why he didn't try to convince me sooner. As a result, I have been hooked on NSX Prime and decided to coordinate a get together for us South Florida NSXers, since we all have something in common.
Acura of Palm Beach was hosting a car show and we agreed to all convene there. Well a half a dozen of us decided to caravan from Boca Raton to West Palm Beach. This "caravan" turned into a track event, which apparently annoyed those speed limit abiding who happened to be travelling in the same direction (obviously not at the same speed) as our caravan. Regretfully, a fellow citizen decided to contact FHP (Florida Highway Patrol). As we decided to pull into a rest station, several minutes later we were greeted by an officer who wanted to know the purpose of our track event. Fortunately, we only received a warning, regretfully, he did not want to have a picture of himself with us lined up in the "frisk position." A great time was had by all, and we discussed meeting at future track events!
