Roebling Road Track weekend Jan.26-27, 2002

We had a huge turnout for our first track event of 2002, a two-day weekend at Roebling Road Raceway, a 9 turn 2.02 mile SCCA track just west of beautiful Savannah GA.  Over 50 drivers participated from as far away as Miami FL (a 7 hour drive, 8.5 at legal speeds!).  The variety of cars was fabulous....from Gary Milgrom's 90hp Civic to the 450+hp of Vipers, twin-turbo 911's, and a souped up Nissan 280Z running 22psi of boost.  The event was damage free with only one minor front bumper incident on a Neon.  We DID have some amazing spins to due fluid/oil on the track including yours truly who had a moment in turn 2.  Enjoy the photos below courtesy of Mark Payton of Speed 2 Burn photography.  Those wishing to purchase photos of their cars or the event please contact him directly at speed2burn@hotmail.com.
