SAFE Motorsports track day at Homestead Sat. Aug 28th
South Florida has the largest concentration of NSX owners in the state. Arrangements have been made to hold a Labor Day NSX Fiesta and introduce our NSX group to the local dealers and owners. Miami Acura, Esserman Acura, Acura of Pompano Beach, Acura of South Florida, and Rick Case Acura, have offered to help with event publicity. The original plans to hold a track day at Homestead Motorsports Park on Sat. Sept.4th had to be changed to accomodate fence revision plans for the NASCAR race in Nov. The new track date is Saturday Aug.28th.
Friday Aug. 27th, 1999
leave at 4pm from Orlando
check-in at the Homestead Hampton Inn at special rate of $49/night
late dinner in old downtown Homestead at 9pm
Saturday Aug. 28th, 1999
SAFE Motorsports driving school begins at Homestead Motorsports Park on the road course 8am, continues until 5pm....this school for drivers with prior track experience only....riders can participate after waivers are signed

Homestead's infield road course is a fabulous layout utilizing the front and back straight of the high-speed oval. The track facilities, in my opinion, are the best in Florida with large clean pit areas, clean bathrooms, generous parking, great viewing locations, and most importantly, SHADE.
Our latest social gathering took place on June 27th, 1999. The group made a trip to Daytona International Speedway for a VIP tour. It was an awesome event attended by 22 people. Click here for pictures and copy.
Our last meeting before NSXPO took us to Ferman Acura in Tampa to see the new Zanardi NSX, car #27. We had lunch in the Columbia Restaurant, Ybor City before heading home. Welcome to new member Darryl Patterson.
