Los Angeles to Monterey:  May 5, 1999

On a beautiful crisp morning 37 NSXs formed a caravan through the two-lane roads of the Coastal Range.  It began with an informal drivers' meeting at the Fairfield Inn.  With Alex Vizcarra leading the way we left Santa Clarita for a gourmet picnic lunch in Templeton Park outside Paso Robles.  The parking lot at McDonalds was not designed to hold 37 of us.

We finally made it to the coast and travelled up Highway 1 enjoying the beautiful Pacific views.  We stopped in Big Sur to admire the scenery before driving the last hour and a half to the Embassy Suites in Monterey.
