The weather was gorgeous for our 110-mile round trip through the winding HILLY roads of Lake County. Sunny and 84 degrees....that's why we live in Florida! We made stops at Sugarloaf Mountain (all 364ft. of it) and Lakeridge Winery for a little "tasting". The traffic was fairly light with no encounters with law enforcement.

We returned to Wei-Shen's house at 6pm for a fabulous catered dinner of roast beef, ham, and wonderful deserts including a surprise birthday NSX cake for member Dave Parker of Miami! We also gave away a 1:18 Kyosho Spa Yellow NSX to the winner of our "guess-the-member" contest. Everybody submitted an unusual fact about themselves and a list was generated with all the submissions. The winner was the person who could match the facts with the NSX member. That required everybody to chat with everybody...a great ice-breaker. That led to some really interesting exchanges. For example, did you know that Lynn Stedham was a yellow Crayola crayon at Halloween? Or that John Butz's first car was a 1970 AMC Javelin? You were not allowed to ask a direct question...you had to arrive at the conclusion through devious trickery. It was a wonderful evening finished off with multiple rounds of Grand Tourismo on our 121" screen! Our next planned event is a car show at Cocoa Village on March 18th....details to follow.
