El Diablo Country Club

On Dec.14th, 1999 my favorite golf buddies Bruce Kulesza and Joe Cooper drove me up to play El Diablo, a gem set in the pines of Citrus County north of Hernando on Rt.41.  The most difficult part of the golf course is....finding it.   There were just two signs indicating where the clubhouse was....but it was well worth the trek.

The scenery was beautiful.  The course is set in rolling forested hills that reject wayward shots (and we had quite a few).  The greens were in great shape, fast and true.  The staff was courteous but the marshalls could have lit a fire under the foursome in front of us!

We'll be back for more in this hidden beauty just an hour away from west Orlando!
