The C-NSX aka "the red beast" has now endured 40,000 miles and over 20 track events.   It has just been driven over 6200 miles to NSXPO.    No doubt it has accumulated its share of stone chips, cuts, and bruises....the last being a run-in with a 2" sappling during parking brake "failure".  It was time for a makeover.

I took the NSX to Exotic Concepts, a custom paint and body shop operated by Dennis Grass in Longwood, FL.  He told me the only way to paint this car was to take it completely apart, refinish and paint every part, then reassemble the car piece by piece.

The car went in on Tuesday May 25th.  I just got it back this Thursday June 3rd.  I had the entire front half of the car painted from the doors forward, both intake inserts (rock chips), both rocker panels, and the rear bumper.

The paint job was spectacular.  The color matched perfectly.  The clear coat was beautiful.  The repainted portion of the car looked better than the original factory finish!  Great job Dennis.  Here are a few pictures of the car in various stages of disassembly.
