The Basch Boostfest begins with NSXs arriving in Orlando June 22-23

The weather was AWFUL for the arrival of 10 NSXs from all over Florida AND Georgia during the weekend of June 22-23.  It poured buckets, but that didn't stop anyone.  Mark Basch arrived in town Friday evening and spent the next two days installing his custom supercharger at Bob Fournier's Performance Automotive, just north of downtown Orlando.  There was constant activity at the shop with visitors from all over the state driving over to say hello.  There were two cars being worked on all the time with several waiting in the parking lot for "go fast parts."  The highlight of the weekend was an impromptu dinner at Sam Sneads that started with 20 people and finished with 32...much to the chagrin of the organizer (me) and the restaurant.  The installs will continue throughout the week culminating in the NSX Summer Basch weekend at Mission Inn Resort June 29-30.  There will be 10 cars with 100 additional horsepower on board!
